Chicago is served by two International airports:

Getting to the hotel from the airport:

The CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) takes you directly downtown by train (light rail).

From either train line, a taxi ride from your downtown exit will be about $6 or $7.

Fixed-price shuttle services that will take you directly to the hotel via Airport Express.

Taxi fare can work out more cheaply if you are able to go as a shared ride.

Chicago is accessible via several major interstates and highways: I-90, I-94, I-55, I-290, I-294.

Parking in the hotel for Chicon members is half their usual rate. At the moment, it will be $26 a day. We are looking into less expensive options. Please watch this space for updates.

By Train:

The Amtrak Sytem Map shows its train routes to Chicago. The Amtrak site has more detail about various route options.

Amtrak trains will take you to Union Station, about 1½ miles from the hotel. The #20, #121, and #151 buses will take you to within a couple blocks of the hotel. The fare is $2.25 and for buses, exact change is needed.

By Bus:

Greyhound departs from many points across the country.

Megabus departs from a number of Midwestern cities.
