Bristol Renaissance Faire Day Trip

• When: 9 a.m., Sunday, August 26, 2012

• Where: Hyatt Regency Chicago

• Cost of the tour: $40 in advance, includes transportation (~$20, difference will be refunded if costs are cheaper) and a pre-paid ticket ($19.95 Adult / $9.75 Kid, or cheaper at a group rate if at least 15 people sign up).

RSVP Deadline: August 23 at Noon (CDT).

Note - Because we will be renting 15-person vans based on the number of people who sign up in advance, no refunds will be given.

This is a full-day trip: the vans will leave the Hyatt Regency Chicago at 9 a.m. and return at 9 p.m. If you are driving yourself, meet us just inside the gates of the Ren Faire.

Bristol's 25th Anniversary Celebration Weekend

Grab the kids, friends, and strangers off the street and let's head up to the Bristol Renaissance Faire! We'll check out various shows, regroup at certain times to test our skills on crossbows, tomato tossing, and knife & axe throwing, and feast on good food and more!

Check off items like the following: ride an elephant, suit up and fight like a knight, feast on a turkey leg, dress up/down like a pirate, wench, fairy, or even a klingon (anything goes)! We'll gawk at other fest goers and join in the fun! Nearly 200 artisans in the Bristol Faire Marketplace offer items ranging from sterling silver jewelry, hand-thrown pottery, fine-crafted leather works, and beautiful clothing and rich tapestries.
